See our process

Craft over volume

Bear Coffee exists for people who want specialty coffee without the noise. We roast for sweetness and clarity—highlighting origin character rather than masking it. Every lot is cupped, profiled, and roasted in small batches so the cup stays honest from first crack to final pour.

From farm to cup

A deliberate path that protects what makes each coffee unique.

  1. 01

    Source

We partner with producers who prioritize ripe cherry selection, careful processing, and long-term soil health.

  2. 02

    Roast

Profiles are dialed for density and moisture—built to reveal sweetness, not roast bitterness.

  3. 03

    Cup

Every batch is cupped for clarity, balance, and consistency before it leaves the roastery.

  4. 04

We publish tasting notes and brew guidance so your home cup can meet the same standard.

Brew it well

A starting point for filter and espresso—adjust to taste.

  1. Filter

    1:16 ratio · 92–94°C · medium grind · aim for a 2:30–3:00 brew.

  2. Espresso

    18 g in · 36–40 g out · 25–32 s · fine grind · dial for sweetness.

  3. Store

Keep beans sealed, cool, and away from light. Grind just before brewing.
